Reg-On [Shibuya, Tokyo]

This is Reg-On Diner. It is a small hamburger joint and it feels like an old american diner. It’s small and seats a max of about 20 or 30 people. It’s small but you can smell the hamburger before you arrive. That beef patty leaks through the vents and you know it’s going to be delicious.

Pages of deliciousness.

The menu is has a variety of options and two-ish pages of hamburgers. Hot dogs, soups salads. Pretty much if you miss California this place serves you nostalgia. They serve beer and they have pretty damn good milk shakes.  They are easy to drink and topped with whip cream.

The Onion rings are standard but the burgers take the spot. They don’t have that greasy meaty flavor that Shake Shack has but it has that full burger combo. The Buns are slightly toasted and the burgers have real melted cheese. They come with really nicely made pickles and fries. I have to say that I was disappointed in the amount of fries though. There wasn’t enough to satisfy my fry craving..

I ordered a Red Chili Hot Burger and the toasted buns definitely come out. I think it is seasoned with sriracha ketchup and mustard but I can not tell. The pickles make the burger even better with it’s texture and crunch so I highly recommend chowing down on it in conjunction with your burger. This place is quite a walk but it’s worth checking out if you are in the area.

It’s costs as much as you’d expect for a burger in Tokyo but the shakes were so good I’d come just for the Vanilla Shake. Cheers and Happy Eating.

Reg-on is a 10 to 20 minute walk from Shibuya Station.
